I met Jola's Dad , Honourable Justice Ejiwunmi on 2 occasions when he was at his Grandchildren's (Seun and Solafunmi) Sports days. He certainly came across as a very pleasant and honourable gentleman as he laughed with us all during the event. May the Good Lord comfort all those he left behind. Rest in perfect peace.

I did not meet Honourable Justice Akintola Ejiwunmi when he was alive but I must commend that he has left a trait for which he would remain indelible in my memory. The judgement in which he expressed his opinion despite being against the tide. The words "tyranny of thë majority" entered the lexicon of the Nigerian vocabulary forever, in other words, the majority can be wrong in very sensitive issues but do still have their way nevertheless. Have a great rest and forever remain in His glorious presence.

Late Honourable Justice Akintola Ejiwunmi was a great man of honour who often call me big head.  He always crack jokes with me whenever he sees me and even give me money most of the time.  When I was told of his death, I was shock beyond my imagination.  May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
