Condolences
Kola Akintola-Thomas Mr. June 23, 2008

Your untimely passing is still a shock to me. You have transitioned at a time we needed you most while providing loving encouragement and guidance on several levels. I will never forget the very kind, understanding, loving and grounding discussions we had not only in Nigeria during very challenging days of my life, but when you visited San Francisco. We had the greatest opportunity to visit for several days while we both traveled the highways of  California. You embraced me without reservation. You shared your personal experiences with me, and gave me  direction, and lifted me up. We shared meals  at Davis and will not forget special introductions you gave me not only at Sacramento in the California Assembly; but also at the San Francisco 9th Circuit Court of Appeal. You were a class act. I am very appreciative for project support; and thank you immensely for the wisdom that none other could have provided us. May God accept you into His bosom of mercy. Amen. And to the family, especially Lady Ivie, Jola, Bosun, and Bode;  Brothers Kola, Dayo and Aunty Sade and Olulola, please accept my profound commiseration on this transition and pray God to give you the fortitude to bear the loss.

In deep sympathy,

-Kola

Daniel Kunde DADDY! DADDY!! June 23, 2008
Daddy, though not my biological father, but with the manner you embraced me you were daddy to me. I fondly called you daddy and you always responded by calling me daddy as well because my daughter shared the same day and month (27th of May) with you at birth. You were good to us, always happy and jovial.

My entire family will miss you but we take consolation in that we know that you are with our Lord, Jesus Christ. May your soul rest in peace.
Prince Dokun Thompson Definition of Greatness June 23, 2008
I met Hon Justice Ejuwunmi while he was still at the Supreme Court. My wife, Joy Oghogho who is a niece to the wife introduced me to him. The encounter made me redefine greatness. Justice Ejiwunmi was unassuming and displayed a level of humility that is not normally associated with so called accomplished Nigerians. Knowing more about him made me conclude that humility is the "Hallmark of Greatness". May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
